Senior Chill Out

Pensacola, Fla. - Help seniors in need beat the heat this summer by joining Council on Aging of West Florida, WEAR ABC 3, Soft Rock 94.1 FM, 102.7 WXBM, Lowe’s and the Pensacola Ice Pilots for Senior Chill Out on Friday, June 24. Stop by, chill out with Ice Man and your favorite media personalities and help area seniors stay cool this summer by donating new air conditioners, fans or funds. Donors will receive vouchers for two free general admission tickets to any upcoming season Pensacola Ice Pilots home game. The event will be held at area Lowe’s stores. Lowe’s will be offering special price incentives to those who purchase to donate.

The drop off event will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Lowe’s stores on Airport Blvd. and Fairfield in Pensacola and on Highway 98 in Gulf Breeze. Soft Rock 94.1’s Lu Valentino will do a remote broadcast from the Gulf Breeze location from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Ryan Andrews of 102.7 WXBM will do a remote from the Fairfield store from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Ice Man will be on hand at the Airport store from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. In addition, Paul Chestnutt, the "Voice of the Ice Pilots" will be at the Fairfield location from 11 a.m. to noon and from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the Lowe’s in Gulf Breeze to sign autographs.

Bring your camera and have your picture made with Chestnutt and the Pensacola Ice Pilots’ Brabham Cup trophy and get a free Ice Pilots "He Shoots and Scores!" t-shirts while supplies last. WEAR ABC 3, Soft Rock 94.1 FM and 102.7 WXBM will also have give-aways at the locations will supplies last.
