Josefina Sturgill is the Director of Human Resources for Council on Aging of West Florida, joining the agency in January 2025. She brings over 20 years of experience in recruiting, training, employee engagement, benefits, and compliance. Josefina is passionate about building supportive, high-performing workplace cultures where employees feel valued and empowered.
Before joining Council on Aging, she held HR and talent management roles in hospitality, tourism, and international exchange programs, helping place candidates from around the world while guiding teams to thrive. Originally from Argentina, Josefina loves spending time by the water, exploring Florida’s beaches, and sharing special moments with her two sons.
