The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program pairs thousands of Americans aged 55 and older with organizations making change in communities across the country. Locally, AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers in our RSVP program serve vulnerable older adults through Council on Aging’s volunteer opportunities. RSVP volunteers can lend their skills and compassion by delivering Meals on Wheels, assisting at congregate senior dining sites, or serving as a friendly visitor to homebound older adults, among other roles. RSVP volunteer support helps older adults stay independent, connected, and well-nourished. Volunteers enjoy meaningful service, flexible hours, and the chance to give back to their community.
