The Rat Pack Reunion
Calling all Rat Packers!
Fred Levin, one of the most successful and famous trial attorneys in the nation, will be honored as the first recipient of the Big Cheese Award at the Rat Pack Reunion, a fundraiser to support Council on Aging of West Florida, on Friday, September 23 from 6:30 p.m. until 11 p.m. at New World Landing.
Roasters and Toasters will include groundbreaking civil rights attorney Morris Dees, Super lawyer and philanthropist Bob Kerrigan, President of the Levin/Papantonio Family Foundation Martin Levin, "for the people" attorney John Morgan, President and CEO of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks Terdema Ussery and Blab television's Fred Vigodsky.
Though Frank, Dean, Sammy, Peter and Joey can't make it, we are certain that all the legendary Pensacola Rat Pack, like you, will not want to miss out on getting dressed up in black-tie Rat Pack attire for a unique evening of dinner and dancing to a Frank Sinatra tribute orchestra as we honor Fred and raise funds for Council on Aging of West Florida.
Reservations will not be accepted without payment. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, September 16. Paper tickets will be issued.
Tickets are $100 per person. Donations to the Council in honor of Fred Levin are also encouraged

It would require a book to list all of Fred's accomplishments, philanthropic contributions, honors and awards. However, Fred's development of Florida's Medicaid Third Party Recovery Act, which gave rise to the tobacco litigation, has been credited with being the single-most effective health care legislation in our country's history. It is no small exaggeration to say that the funds Florida received through the “tobacco settlement” have meant that millions of dollars are available each year to serve the health care needs of Florida's neediest citizens. Without this funding, some programs and services for homebound elders would suffer as a result, including some of the programs and services provided in our area by Council on Aging of West Florida.
Net proceeds will benefit Council on Aging of West Florida and the programs and services we provide to seniors and their families throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties. These programs and services include Meals on Wheels, Alzheimer's respite and adult day health care, congregate meals and recreational activities, caregiver support and training, support for grandparents raising grandchildren, case management and the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs.
You can also send payment to Council on Aging of West Florida, P.O. Box 17066, Pensacola, FL 32522. For more information, call 850-432-1475 or email jnall@coawfla.org.
