and those involved in their lives.
Council on Aging of West Florida is a local, independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that has served seniors and their families since 1972. Council on Aging of West Florida helps seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties live healthy, safe and independent lives in their own familiar surroundings by providing community based, in-home programs and services such as Meals on Wheels and Alzheimer's respite care, which is provided by our Adult Day Health Care Center. Other programs and services include case management, the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion Programs, caregiver support and training, and the operation of numerous senior dining sites throughout Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties.
Council on Aging of West Florida will once again pay tribute to the original Rat Pack as well as honor a pack of local leaders at its Rat Pack Reunion 2015 fundraiser. The 2015 honorees being recognized for their business leadership and service to the community are McGuire Martin, Lumon May, Collier Merrill and Charlie Switzer. The event will feature a plated Italian dinner, open bar and dancing to the music of the Ol Blue Eyes era as performed by renowned Sinatra tribute artist Tom Tiratto, whose appearances include The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
Please help us provide seniors in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties with the programs and services they need to live healthy, safe and independent lives in their own familiar surroundings. These program and services, which include Meals on Wheels, adult day health care and caregiver support, enable seniors and their caregivers to face an uncertain future with the dignity they deserve.
