Josh Newby serves as the President/CEO for the Council on Aging of West Florida. He received a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's degree in strategic communication from the University of West Florida. Newby has previously worked at both UWF and Ballinger Publishing before coming to Council on Aging, where he oversaw marketing strategy, media, social media, photo and video production, fundraising and more.
He is a graduate of the Pensacola Chamber Foundation's Leadership Pensacola program and serves on the board of Five Flags Rotary, Florida Public Relations Association, and the Florida Council on Aging. Newby was also named a 2019 Rising Star from IN Weekly.
