Josh Newby serves as the Marketing Communications Director for the Council on Aging of West Florida. He received a bachelor's degree in public relations and a master's degree in strategic communication from the University of West Florida, where he worked as a communications specialist for two years following graduation.
He comes to the Council on Aging from Ballinger Publishing, where he worked as an editor for four years, developing client publications; writing on happenings in business, art, government and lifestyle; expanding brand recognition; and serving as the lead on web and social media strategy.
He is a graduate of the Pensacola Chamber Foundation's Leadership Pensacola program and serves on the board of EscaRosa Coalition on the Homeless and Tiger Bay Club.
