ON-CALL SENIOR DINING SITE MANAGER Posted: Wednesday, May 30, 2018

SALARY:   $9.00/hr., mileage reimbursement, retirement benefit  

 HOURS:  M-F, 3 hours


The Community Services Department is under the direction of the Community Services Director. A person in this class performs routine work delivering various types of meals to homebound elders, substituting at Senior Dining Meal Sites, transporting  consumers in agency vehicles and providing clerical assistance on an on-call basis. 


• Manage site for Senior Dining Program

• Set tables ensuring the appropriate number of seats

• Complete intake and termination forms for site participants

• Complete appropriate volunteer paperwork

• Assist the Activities Supervisor with site activities

• Notify the Community Services Department of the daily meal requirements

•Submit the Client Reservation Report to the Community Services Manager weekly


• High school diploma or GED

• Valid Florida driver’s license

• Dependable automobile

• Excellent driving record 

• Ability to navigate and operate a vehicle

• Flexibility required in working hours/days

• Previous driving experience and knowledge of local area preferred

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete reports

• Good communication skills 

• Ability to relate to and interact with the elderly and disabled

• Special understanding of the needs and limitations of the elderly and disabled

• Successfully pass a Level II background screen 

 Positions located within the Council on Aging of West Florida, Inc. require a valid Florida driver’s license, dependable automobile, proof of automobile insurance, drug/alcohol testing, successful completion of Level II background screening as a condition of employment.
