We offer a home delivered meal service to meet the short or long term needs of those who do not qualify for government funded meals. This customized service provides frozen meals to individuals of any age. The meals are prepared under the supervision of a registered dietician and each meal meets one-third of the recommended dietary allowance for senior adults
Both lunch/dinner meals and breakfast meals are available in packages of five or seven meals. Each lunch/dinner meal comes with a dessert, milk and bread. The cost per meal is $7.50, which includes delivery.
Meals are delivered once a week between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Once you enroll, we will call you to let you know the day of the week that meals are delivered in your area.

The Retreat, Council on Aging of West Florida’s adult day care center, offers a stimulating day experience for older adults with physical and cognitive impairments. Participants enjoy a full day of activities, social interaction and recreation in a safe, protective at-home like atmosphere. Family caregivers gain peace of mind knowing their loved ones are in a safe place while they go off to work or get much needed respite.
Those who are not eligible for government funded programs may participate on a private pay basis at daily rates much lower than those charged for in-home care. To enroll, potential participants must complete an assessment with the director of the center and return a completed physician's admission order. (click to download)
